Karaman Museum

The museum officialy opened in 1980 mostly exhibits the archeological and ethnographical  artifacts and antiques found from Karaman and surroundings .

Museum located in the Karaman city center on the Turgut Ozal street just behind the a master piece Hatuniye Madrasah.

Museum has a very rich  collection of findings from Paleolithic age untill today.

There are two separate exhibition hall is available in the museum for Archeological and Ethnographic antiques.

Coins and numerous antiques  from  the  Hellenistic , Venice , Rome, Byzantine , Anatolian Principalities, Ottoman and Republic times are chronologically exhibited in the Museum.

Besides in the garden of the museum historical stone works are shown to the visitors.
