Cendere Bridge

Built over Cendere ( Cabinas) creek and consists of two arches. The bridge which is still used today was built by Roman soldiers who were building a new headquarter in Samsat area, during the reign of emperor Septimius Severus.

The columns on the bridge are dedicated to Septimius Severus, His wife and his son. Bridge is a magnificent example of Roman architecture.
