Hatay museum ranks second in the world in view of the richness of the mosaic collections. Besides mosaics many more antiques and artifacts belonging to Hittite, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods are exhibited in the museum.

18 100 pieces of archaeological artifacts, 1050 ethnographic pieces ,  13 820 coins, 1347 seals  and for a total of 34 317 works are exhibited in the Hatay mosaic museum.

Mosaics in the museum  dates back to the Byzantine and Roman periods . Mythological events and people are symbolized and depicted  in mosaics.

Entrance fee of the Hatay Museum is 8 TL ( 4 Euros, 5 Dollars)
